Who Should Play Titan Thrasher Cornhole Bags
The Titan Thrasher is a cornhole bag designed for players who prefer control over speed. This is a skill players bag. It’s a control bag that isn’t carpet. It reminds me of the nomad (which I will compare next time). This was my fourth Titan experience. I loved the venom, I liked the swarm, impressed by Tyrant and Devastators, and now the THRASHER I like as well. I can’t “love it” because a) I’m not a slow bag type of guy and b) I still haven’t mastered the roll and flop shots that these control bags are meant to do yet ( though I plan on getting there soon enough ).
First Impression:
My first impression was very satisfying, come with me!
I’m not usually a fan of Titan’s traditional designs, but 2021 to 24 thrasher designs are a huge upgrade. The graphics are just plain incredible. I appreciate that Titan is continuously improving their designs and offering more aesthetically pleasing options. It comes with an orange Titan drawstring bag with the brand name and logo painted on it once I opened the box. My kids use these bags for soccer cleats, and you can use it for any purpose. I was excited to use it to obscure my cornhole bag and to hand carry it easily.
Next, we got a Thank you card and sticker which was very kind and after that here we go with Titan Thrasher’s cornhole bag. It portrayed an amazing impression and excitement. I ordered a dark blue colored bag with a Shark bite painting on it with a pirate ship in the background. It was so captivating giving a 3D image. It was lightweight, portable, and yet strong.
Performance:
It has a surprisingly excessive performance and is excellent for players who are experts and like control. It was fast then listed speed and ideal for hole-friendly plays. Its slow side is a suitable board game for strategically placing blocks shots and setups, whereas the fast side is best for pushing and precision.
Now Titan and I disagree on their speeds, but most bag reviewers and I align there. This bag isn’t a 3/6. It’s a sure fire slow side which is traditionally known as a quick 4 or slow 5. The fast side plays like a 7. I believe it’s the Viking material. It’s also a well used material in the cornhole world. These bags play a little faster than most 5/7 bags on the fast side. I actually rated it a 7.5. However, mine aren’t totally broken in yet. They will likely still slow a little. I don’t mind the extra speed. It makes the blockers easier to collect.

Comparisons with Other Bags
The Thrasher reminds me of the Nomad, though I prefer the Nomad for its flatter grip in my hand. The Thrasher doesn’t have bead shifts during release, which is a big plus, but it doesn’t sit as flat in my hand as the Nomad does. It’s easier to roll than most bags, so if that’s your game, you’ll love it. However, I use this bag for defensive purposes since it doesn’t match my offensive style. The Marksman is another option I’m considering for its larger size and better hole-friendliness compared to the Thrasher.
